About Resmed Lumis 150 - BiPAP Machine
The ResMed Lumis 150 VPAP ST BiPAP Machine is an advanced non-invasive ventilator designed for patients with respiratory insufficiency who require personalised breathing support. It provides separate inspiratory and expiratory pressure levels to make breathing more comfortable and support effective ventilation during prescribed home or clinical therapy. The device is intended for non-dependent patients and is not a life-support ventilator.
The Lumis 150 supports CPAP, S, T, ST, PAC and iVAPS therapy modes. Its intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support technology maintains a prescribed alveolar-ventilation target by automatically adapting pressure support to the patient’s changing breathing requirements. Optional AutoEPAP helps maintain an open upper airway, while the intelligent Backup Rate provides backup breaths when required and allows spontaneous breathing whenever possible.
Advanced technologies such as Vsync, TiControl, adjustable trigger and cycle sensitivity, Ramp and Ramp Down improve patient–device synchronisation and overall therapy comfort. When used with the HumidAir heated humidifier and ClimateLineAir heated tube, Climate Control Auto provides automatically regulated humidification to help reduce dryness and irritation during therapy.
