About Airsense 10 Cpap- Resmed
The ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP Machine is a fixed-pressure continuous positive airway pressure device designed for the prescribed treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea in patients weighing more than 30 kg. It delivers consistent therapeutic pressure throughout the night to help keep the upper airway open and support uninterrupted breathing during sleep. It is suitable for prescribed use in home and hospital environments.
The AirSense 10 CPAP operates within a pressure range of 4–20 cmH₂O. Its AutoRamp with sleep-onset detection begins therapy at a lower pressure and gradually increases it after the patient falls asleep. Expiratory Pressure Relief reduces pressure during exhalation, helping the user breathe out more comfortably against the airflow.
The device includes an integrated HumidAir heated humidifier with eight adjustable humidity levels to help reduce nasal dryness, throat irritation and discomfort during therapy. SmartStart, an ambient-light sensor, a colour display, therapy-data recording and wireless connectivity make the AirSense 10 convenient for regular sleep therapy and professional monitoring. Wireless functionality may vary according to the regional model.
